Notification pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003

In accordance with the personal data protection requirements of article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, we hereby inform you that any personal data that you voluntarily supply to the Friends of the University of Padua Association will be processed by the organization using appropriate measures to guarantee their security and confidentiality, in compliance with the abovementioned regulations.

1. Data processing purposes and methods

1.1. Browsing data

During their daily operations, the computer systems used to run the amiciunipd.it website automatically acquire some personal data, which are passed on by default when using web communication protocols. If examined together with data held by third parties, it may be possible to use these data to identify the users/visitors. For example, the data include the IP addresses and domain names of the computers of users/visitors who go to amiciunipd.it. These personal data are normally collected for statistical surveys, handled anonymously and used to enhance the browsing experience on the amiciunipd.it website.

1.2. Cookies

The amiciunipd.it website uses cookies, which are short strings of text that are sent by the site’s server to the user/visitor’s browser and automatically saved on the user/visitor’s computer. The main aim of cookies is to enhance the website browsing experience, so we recommend configuring your browser to accept them. Almost all browsers will accept cookies in their default settings, but users/visitors can independently alter the settings of their browsers and block cookies (by opting out). Please note that the use of the amiciunipd.it website and some of its services may be limited if cookies are blocked.

1.3. The data collected are only processed for the following reasons:

1.4. The processing will take place by hand and with the aid of electronic or other automatic equipment. In accordance with the restrictions and conditions imposed by article 11 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03, it will include all of the procedures or combined operations described in article 4, section 1, part a) of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03: collecting, recording, organizing, storing, consulting, handling, altering, selecting, extracting, comparing, using, interconnecting, blocking, transmitting, deleting and destroying the data.

3. Transmission and disclosure of data

3.1. The data collected will only be disclosed or transmitted to third parties in circumstances provided for by this notification and/or the law, and the methods used will comply with the law.

3.2. The data supervisors and the persons responsible for the processing may become aware of the data while performing their respective duties in compliance with the instructions given, with the sole purpose of achieving the specific goals described in this notification.

4. Rights of the persons concerned

4.1. With regard to these data, it is possible to exercise the rights provided for by art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, in accordance with the restrictions and conditions imposed by articles 8, 9 and 10 of the same legislative decree, by sending an email to amiciunipd@unipd.it.

5. The Data Controller and Supervisor

The Data Controller is the Friends of the University of Padua Association, which has its legal headquarters at Via VIII Febbraio 2 in Padua and its operational headquarters at Galleria Storione 8 in Padua. The Data Supervisor is the legal representative of the Friends of the University of Padua Association.
